WHEN: Tuesday February 18, 2020 5:30pm - 7:00pm

WHERE: Boonville Elementary School Cafeteria (110 Ford Street Boonville, NY 13309)

Join Alder Creek Solar for two Public Information Meetings to learn more about the proposed project, how you can be involved, and the positive impact it will have on local communities. The open-house style meeting will include a brief presentation from project developers and opportunities for attendees to ask questions about how solar energy works, potential public benefits from the project, the Article 10 permitting process, and the project schedule.

About Alder Creek Solar:
Alder Creek Solar, a project of Apex Clean Energy, is a proposed utility-scale solar energy project to be located in Boonville and Forestport that would generate up to 200 megawatts of clean energy, enough to power about 21,000 homes.

If built, Alder Creek is expected to generate up to $8 million in tax and community benefit revenue for the towns of Boonville and Forestport, Oneida County, and the Adirondack Central School District. The project will also create new local clean energy jobs during both the construction process as well as permanent positions for ongoing operations of the facility.
